Vanessa Van Meerhaeghe

Yet another female artist that tends to focus on erotic images of women (there are a lot of them now) is Vanessa Van Meerhaeghe.  Her illustrations are simple but stylish.  Here are some illustrations wherein she departed from drawing women and drew little girls instead.

Oresama-Shiko

DeviantArt is a great source for images of little girls. Jamaican artist Oresama-Shiko focuses almost exclusively on erotic images of women, but I loved this simple portrait she did of a little girl. This portrait clearly fits the “baby doll” trend, basically the modern version of the “big-eyed waif” phenomenon, except usually done with a dark, ironic or surreal twist.  This one, however, was relatively straightforward.

Amy Guip and Emma Watson

In honor of the new Harry Potter film starting tonight, here’s a photograph of Emma Watson.  She may not be a child anymore, but she made her name as a child actress starting with the first Harry Potter movie, and she will forever be known as Hermione Granger.  Here’s to several years of excellent work on this series, not just to Emma but to all the stars of these fantastic films.  Cheers!

This portrait is circa about 2005, I believe. Don’t quote me on that.
